Children in care present with their own unique challenges and you may need extra resources to learn how to best care for the child in your home. FARE offers trainings free of charge for foster and adoptive parents to attend. Training hours can be earned.
Our first training, featuring Megg Thompson was hosted on Match 26, 2022. It was a huge success! We came together to learn, laugh, and eat pizza. Everyone in attendance earned 4 training hours to use towards their licensing requirements.
A special thanks to Life Church for donating their space and to Hannafords for donating granola bars and water bottles for each attendee. Pappy's Pizza and Dominoes also gave us a discount on their delicious pizza.
